An official decision has been made in Saudi Arabia to prohibit photography and videography inside the Al-Haram Mosque, including the area around the Kaaba. This is done to protect the personal space of pilgrims and to preserve the spiritual atmosphere of worship, as reported by local news sources.

The ban has already come into effect for the current season of Hajj and Umrah and includes the use of mobile phones, video cameras, and cameras.

Official statements emphasize that this measure is aimed at preventing the sacred place from becoming a platform for selfies and tourist entertainment, allowing worshippers to focus on prayer.

Pilgrims are warned that violations of these rules will result in the confiscation of devices and other sanctions in accordance with established security measures in holy places.
