In Bishkek, at the main mosque "Imam Sarakhsi," the first meeting for the hajy bashchylars — leaders of groups of pilgrims representing the Issyk-Kul, Naryn, Talas, Chui regions, and the city of Bishkek — took place on November 20.

The meeting was led by Zholdoshbek Abdildaev, the deputy mufti and chairman of the organizing committee for Hajj-2026. He expressed hope for successful activities for all participants and emphasized the importance of the responsibility that group leaders bear when accompanying pilgrims.

Abdildaev noted that the Hajj is a key aspect of faith in Islam, and pilgrims embark on their journey to the holy lands with high expectations and excitement. He urged leaders to serve the pilgrims with honor and to create all necessary conditions for performing the Hajj rituals in accordance with Sharia. "All assignments from the committee must be carried out accurately and on time," he added.

Employees of the Hajj department of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan provided participants with detailed information about the rules for organizing the pilgrimage, the requirements of Saudi Arabia for pilgrims, as well as the preparation of documents and the structure of subordination to the committee. During the meeting, the hajy bashchylars were able to ask their questions of interest. In the second part of the event, participants were awarded certificates approved by the Spiritual Administration.

A total of 134 hajy bashchys were selected to accompany Kyrgyz pilgrims during Hajj-2026.
