At the international Islamic conference held in Astrakhan, several respected muftis from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan made significant recommendations for Muslims. This was reported by Russian news agencies.

In particular, they strongly recommended that believers refrain from wearing niqabs in crowded places, government institutions, and educational establishments, which will help ensure safety and simplify the process of identity verification. Conference participants emphasized that the niqab is not a part of the historical culture of their peoples.

Moreover, the muftis urged Muslims to avoid performing prayers in inappropriate places and at unsuitable times, such as during shifts or in public areas.
