Aibek Shamenov, the authorized representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Batken region, visited Kyzyl-Kiya to assess the condition of the city's medical institutions.
According to the press service, the main results of the modernization were summarized:
- The psycho-neurological department of the City Center for General Medical Practice (GTSOMP) underwent major repairs this year. For this purpose, 10 million soms were allocated from the republican budget, which allowed for the creation of modern conditions for patients and medical staff in the department designed for 20 beds.
- The neurological department of GTSOMP was built with the support of the World Youth Assembly and the local budget. The facility, accommodating 40 people, is equipped with everything necessary for quality diagnosis and treatment.
- The complete reconstruction of the city maternity hospital, which accommodates 70 beds, was also carried out with republican funds.
- In addition, two new feldsher-obstetric points (FAP) are ready to open. These facilities were built as part of the development program for the Batken region, financed from 500 million soms allocated from the republican budget.
