The press service of OJSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan" reported that the completion of the construction of a new terminal complex at the "Osh" international airport is scheduled for the summer of 2026.
This initiative represents an important step in the development of the country's infrastructure and is being carried out according to the established schedule.
According to OJSC, the new terminal, with an area of 25,000 square meters, will have a capacity of up to 900 passengers per hour, significantly improving comfort and service quality. The construction is financed from the company's own funds. After the opening of the new complex, the existing terminal will be used exclusively for domestic flights.
Additionally, OJSC noted that the modernization of airports in the country is being carried out systematically. In recent years, the airports in "Karakol" and "Talas" have been updated, and repair work has been conducted at the "Jalal-Abad", "Kerben", and "Kazarman" airports. Currently, the construction of a new modern international airport in Manas is ongoing.
