In the new building, with an area of 16,000 square meters, the following are planned:
- modern classrooms and laboratories;
- dormitory for students and graduate students;
- library, museum, and large conference hall;
- rooms for teachers and foreign specialists;
- observatory, greenhouse, as well as sports and medical blocks;
- special room for the children of staff members.
The construction of the new building, which will cost 1.4 billion soms, is being carried out by the company OsOO "Bai Tash." It is planned that the completion of the work will take from 1.5 to 2 years.
Tumanbaev also discussed with representatives of the contractor and other responsible structures the issues of construction quality and compliance with safety standards, after which he gave instructions for the prompt resolution of the problems that arose.
