Tumanbaev reported that the process of replacing national driver's licenses has now become much simpler — it is enough to submit an application through the "Tündük" app, without wasting time waiting in lines. Usually, the entire process takes only a minute.
However, for a successful online replacement, users must upload a medical certificate in form 083 to the app in advance. This certificate is mandatory, and obtaining it still requires a visit to a clinic and examinations by several doctors, including a psychiatrist and a narcologist.
It was also announced that driving tests will now be conducted in a fully automated mode without the involvement of staff.
The new licenses will be developed using modern security technologies and will comply with international ISO standards. Their design will be personalized using laser engraving, and the copyright for it belongs to Kyrgyzstan. All materials and technologies used are certified according to international standards.
The validity period of these documents will be ten years, and thanks to multi-level security features, it will be impossible to forge or alter the data.
