In Bishkek, at the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver Licensing, a presentation of a new online service took place, allowing users to exchange their driver's licenses through the "Tunduk" app. The event was attended by the President's Chief of Staff Kanaybek Tumanbaev, who familiarized himself with the functionality and advantages of the new digital solution.
Now users can quickly and conveniently exchange their driver's licenses using the "Tunduk" mobile application, which significantly saves time and simplifies the process of obtaining government services.
The presentation on how to use the service was conducted by Amanov Talant, a member of the Board of JSC "Tunduk".
The algorithm for exchanging driver's licenses is as follows:
1. Launch the app. To exchange online, you must upload a medical certificate of form 083 in advance. Applications without this certificate will not be accepted.
2. Go to the "Services" section and select "Transportation and Driving".
3. Find the service "Apply for a driver's license replacement" and submit your application.
4. Check the entered data and click "Next".
5. Choose the organization that will issue the license, as well as the reason for the replacement (e.g., loss, etc.).
6. Choose the delivery method:
– "Yes" — courier delivery (you need to specify the address and postal code).
– "No" — the license can be picked up in person.
7. Take a photo through the app.
Photo requirements:
* look straight at the camera
* no shadows on the face and clothing
* good lighting and clarity of the image
* no headwear (hijab is allowed)
8. Payment: all payments are made via QR code. The app automatically generates a QR code that can be scanned using any payment app.
The finished license will be available within 2 working days. Upon receipt, the old license must be surrendered.
"The State Center continues to expand the range of digital services, striving to create convenient conditions for citizens," the official press release states.
It is important to note that the new national driver's license of the Kyrgyz Republic includes modern security technologies and meets international ISO standards. The document is made of high-quality polycarbonate and has a lifespan of at least 10 years.
The license is equipped with multi-level security features, such as holographic effects, microtext, optically variable images, embossed and tactile elements, as well as UV ink.
Card personalization is done using laser engraving, making each card unique and protected against counterfeiting.
All rights to the design of the license belong to the Kyrgyz Republic, and the materials and technologies used are certified according to international standards. The new document guarantees reliability, a long service life, and a high level of protection for drivers.
