Recently, a presentation of a new online service took place in Kyrgyzstan, which allows for the replacement of driver's licenses through the mobile application "Tündük". This event was held at the State Center for Registration of Vehicles and Drivers, under the guidance of the Presidential Administration's Kanibek Tumanbaev, who was introduced to the advantages of this digital service.
With the "Tündük" app, citizens can now quickly and conveniently exchange their driver's licenses. This innovative approach significantly simplifies the process of obtaining government services, making it more accessible and modern.
Talant Amanov, a board member of JSC "Tündük", shared details about the service's operation.
1. Launch the mobile application "Tündük".
Before submitting an application, ensure that you have a medical certificate in form 083/U, as the application will not be accepted without it.
2. Go to the "Services" section and select "Vehicle and Driving".
3. Click on "Apply for a driver's license replacement" and submit your application.
4. Check the entered personal data and click "Next".
5. Specify the organization that issues the licenses and the purpose of your request (for example, replacement or loss).
6. Choose the method of receiving the document:
— "Yes" — for courier delivery (enter your address and postal code).
— "No" — for personal collection of the license.
7. Take a photo directly in the app, following these requirements:
- direct gaze at the camera;
- absence of shadows on the face and clothing;
- clear and bright image;
- no headwear (a scarf is allowed).
8. Payment for services can be made using a QR code, which the app will automatically generate and can be used through any payment application by simply scanning it.
According to Talant Amanov, the new driver's license will be ready within 5-6 working days, provided that the medical certificate is available. When receiving the new document, the old license must be surrendered, which will be destroyed.

The new license will be produced using modern security technologies and will comply with international ISO standards. Its production involves the use of high-quality polycarbonate, ensuring a service life of at least 10 years.
The document will be protected by multi-level elements such as holographic effects, microtext, optically variable images, embossed and tactile elements, as well as UV ink. Personalization of the licenses is done through laser engraving, making each card unique and protecting it from counterfeiting.
The design of the new license belongs to the Kyrgyz Republic, and the materials and technologies used are certified in accordance with international standards. This document guarantees reliability, a long service life, and maximum protection for drivers.
Kanibek Tumanbaev, head of the presidential administration, stated that starting in 2026, the process of taking exams for obtaining a driver's license will be fully automated, eliminating the human factor.
