According to information published in Uzbek media, starting from February 1 of next year, driving school education will become optional in Uzbekistan.

Now, those wishing to obtain driver's licenses of categories "A" and "B" will be able to study the theoretical part independently.

Additionally, starting from January 1, a new subcategory of driver's licenses - "A1" - will be introduced in the country, which will allow the operation of mopeds and scooters.

It is important to note that obtaining a license of category "A1" will also not require attending a driving school.
