At the press conference, the Minister of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies of the Kyrgyz Republic, Azamat Jamangulov, presented a new option in the Tunduk application — the "Self-Ban on Lending" service. This tool is designed to protect citizens from fraud when applying for loans.
With the new feature, users can independently prohibit the issuance of loans in their name, significantly reducing the risk of misuse of their personal data.
Instructions for setting up the self-ban:
1. Launch the Tunduk application;
2. Find the "Self-Ban on Lending" service;
3. Click "Submit Application";
4. Select a credit bureau;
5. Confirm the action.
After confirmation, the protection is activated immediately.
How to cancel the self-ban:
To lift the restriction, you need to go back to the same service, select a credit bureau, and click "Remove Self-Ban." This process will occur automatically within 12 hours.
If you change your mind during this time, the user can cancel the application, and the protection will remain in effect.
It is important to note that this mechanism was initiated by the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh and signed by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on July 30, 2025. It comes into effect on November 1 of the current year.
