The construction of the new sports complex "Azattyk Arena" in Bishkek is in an active phase. This stadium will be the largest in Central Asia, as reported by the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan, which recently released a video showcasing the progress of the work.
According to information from the agency, the completion of concrete work is scheduled for December 10, after which the installation of structures will begin. At the same time, engineering networks are being laid on the site and finishing works are being carried out.
Kanibek Tumanbaev, the head of the Presidential Administration, noted that the construction of the stadium is planned to be completed by August 1, 2026. The new arena will meet all FIFA requirements, accommodating up to 51,000 spectators, which will allow for major international events and high-level matches to be held there.
The "Azattyk Arena" project is one of the most important sports facilities in Kyrgyzstan and is expected to enhance the country's status in the international sports arena.
