A new stadium with a capacity of 30,000 spectators is planned to be built in Manas. This information was announced by the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev, during his working trip to the Jalal-Abad region.
According to Tashiev, the start of construction work is scheduled for next year on the territory of the existing airport.
“The airport occupies an area of 80 hectares. A modern city will be created in this place, including a stadium for 30,000 seats, which will become the second largest in the country. Construction will begin after the airport is relocated next year,” he added.
