- From the point of view of safety and logistics, this is not a suitable location for a stadium. There should be at least six exits, but there are only two. The city has grown, the population has increased, and the safety requirements have changed. I have tasked to look for a location for the construction of a new football stadium for 40-45 thousand spectators. If it is built, we are ready to consider the issue of transferring the land where Spartak is located. In the future, a business center could be built there, or a hotel complex, or a number of high-rise buildings. There are many options, and the area allows for it. If there are options, we are ready to consider them. With investors, we can create a joint-stock company and issue shares, - noted the Prime Minister.
Sariyev also added that the government is ready to discuss any proposals, including changes to legislation, as long as local companies invest more in sports in exchange for various preferences.
Shortly thereafter, the head of the cabinet reported that a location for the construction of a new stadium had been found.
- Within two years, we need to acquire a modern sports arena. It can include a shopping center, a water park, and much more. The chosen location above the Southern Highway is ideal for this, - emphasized Sariyev.
The head of the "Dordoi" association, Askar SALYMBEKOV, at a meeting on the development of club football with the participation of the Prime Minister, also mentioned that it would be beneficial to demolish the small arena of the D. Omurzakov stadium.
- The small arena needs to be demolished. It stands as an artifact in the center of the city. A modern sports complex should be built in its place. This can be done based on an open joint-stock company. Ten to fifteen people can contribute one to two million each. And everyone will benefit, - suggested the businessman.
