The Ministry of Construction has announced that the airport reconstruction project is one of the most significant for 2025
The work is under the control of the state company "Kyrgyzkurulush," which is part of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services, while the construction company "Avangard" is carrying out the work. The sketch part of the project was developed by the Department of Urban Development and Architecture.
“Previously, the airport infrastructure area was about 39,000 square meters, and according to the new project, it will increase by 18,000 square meters. A modern enclosed walkway — skywalk — will also be built. The design of the airport will be fundamentally changed with an emphasis on national traditions, and a monument to Manas will be installed,” the statement said.
The ministry assured that the facility will fully comply with international requirements. The airport will feature moving walkways and escalators, and the second floor will include a waiting area with a height of 8.8 meters, a width of 15.5 meters, and a length of 255.5 meters, as per the project.
Currently, the installation of internal engineering systems in blocks A, B, C, D, and E is underway, metal roof structures are being installed, and additional work is being carried out on the internal walls.
