In Bishkek, the expansion of Logvinenko Street is planned. This information became known during public discussions of the city's new master plan.

Yzyldyz Sharapatova, one of the local residents, reported that the expansion of the street could affect 50 houses located on Ashkhabad Alley, and this raises serious concerns among them.

According to the city resident, "we studied the master plan and enlarged the image to understand that the expansion of Logvinenko Street will indeed occur at the expense of our alley. The indicated width of the road, along with the sidewalks, is 22 meters, and this threatens the houses on the western side of Ashkhabad Alley."

The resident suggested an alternative option that could exclude the demolition of houses on Ashkhabad Alley — to expand Logvinenko Street at the expense of the neighboring street of the same name.
