In the historic city of Kokand (Uzbekistan), the Osh National Drama Theater named after S. Ibraimov held performances, during which the play "Kurmanjan" was presented. This was reported by the Ministry of Culture.

The creative team, led by artistic director Ulanmyrza Karypbaev, was warmly welcomed by their colleagues from the Kokand Musical Drama Theater, including chief director Dilshan Akhmedaliev. The meeting took place in a festive atmosphere, accompanied by songs and music.

Ulanmyrza Karypbaev noted that the tour with this production, based on the work of the folk poet of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jusuyev, holds special significance. He emphasized that art knows no borders, and powerful works can touch audiences regardless of their nationality.

During the event, representatives of the Kyrgyz and Uzbek theaters emphasized the importance of strengthening cultural ties and expanding cooperation in the creative sphere.

The audience in Kokand warmly received the play "Kurmanjan," dedicated to the life and feats of Kurmanjan Datka, noting its emotional depth and high quality of performance.
