In the Osh National Historical and Archaeological Museum Complex "Sulaiman-Too," there is a unique chapan that has an interesting backstory.

Patila Zhusueva, a local resident, shared with a Turmush correspondent that she donated this chapan to the museum in 2018.

“This chapan was given to me by an elderly woman from Alai, who told me that Kurmanjan datka often visited their home. Once, she left this chapan with them. I decided to keep it because Kurmanjan datka mentioned that she bought it for 100 sheep. I was afraid I might lose it, so I decided to donate it to the 'Sulaiman-Too' museum along with other items,” Zhusueva said.

She also noted that the inner part of the chapan is made of mink.
