The head of the government noted the importance of this step for increasing the mobility and combat readiness of the army. In his opinion, a modern army should combine traditions and innovations, which will ensure safe and operational movement of military personnel.
Adylbek Kasymaliev also emphasized that significant improvements in the country's defense capability over the past few years have been made possible by increasing the Armed Forces budget by more than 300 percent compared to 2018-2019. These funds are directed towards the modernization of armaments, the development of military infrastructure, and the procurement of modern air defense and electronic warfare systems.
An important achievement has been the completion of the first stage of implementing electronic document management and accounting in the Ministry of Defense system. In pilot mode, the new electronic military accounting system is already functioning in five military enlistment offices, and it is planned to launch it in another 25 by March. The process of digitizing military ID cards has also begun.
Social protection of military personnel will also be a focus. In Bishkek, the daily compensation for housing rent has been increased to 500 soms, and in the regions — to 420 soms. In addition, monthly mortgage payments are provided, along with the possibility of purchasing housing regardless of the place of service and the provision of more than 900 apartments through the State Mortgage Company.
In total, the Ministry of Defense received 81 vehicles, including 36 Chevrolet Cobalt cars, 19 JAC T-6 pickups, 18 Gazelle vans, 5 shift buses, and 3 JAC Sunray minibuses. Part of this equipment was produced at the Tulpar Motors plant in Kyrgyzstan.
