At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Nurjamal Torobekova drew attention to the need to assign village status to the Ozhor area, located in the rural municipality of Mady in the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region.
According to her, about 500 families live in this area, mainly ethnic Kyrgyz and young families.
She emphasized that in 2003, a plot of land was allocated for the construction of a health post, kindergarten, and school; however, construction work has not yet begun. As a result, children are forced to study in the school of the village of Bash-Bulak, which is designed for 480 students, but actually accommodates about 1900 children," the deputy noted.
In addition, Torobekova appealed to the authorities regarding the village of Kyzyl-Tal, where 1700 families and more than 5,000 residents live, who also do not have a school.
"Children need to travel to the city for education, which takes about an hour. There is also a problem with irrigation, as there is no irrigation water, which complicates agricultural activities," she added.
