According to the minister, one of the main problems in the healthcare sector remains the late diagnosis of serious diseases, such as malignant tumors, when patients seek help at stages III-IV. He believes this is related to the lack of an effective laboratory diagnostic system.
“An accurate diagnosis is the foundation of successful treatment. To timely and correctly identify diseases, the country needs a powerful laboratory base,” noted Kanybek Dosmambetov.
In this regard, the Ministry of Health is developing a project to create a modern state reference laboratory in Bishkek, which will be equipped with high-tech equipment, have developed logistics, and a digital infrastructure. The project includes the construction of a new laboratory, equipping it with modern devices, creating a regional network, developing a quality control system, and implementing a digital platform for interaction with medical institutions.
