The camera trap, installed in May 2025 and operational in December, captured rare species such as the snow leopard and lynx, as well as mountain goats, a fox, and a pack of wolves. The agency noted that these photographs provide an opportunity to observe animals in their natural habitat without interfering in their lives, which is very important for monitoring and protecting fauna.

The state nature park "Khan-Teniri" is located in the eastern part of the Issyk-Kul region, at the junction of the Kungoy and Teskey Ala-Too ridges. It includes four sections: Aydyr-Tor, Sary-Jaz, Enilchek, and Kainy.
The ministry emphasizes that the conservation of rare species such as the snow leopard and lynx is one of its main tasks, and the use of camera traps is an effective method for monitoring and protecting wildlife.
