Wildlife shots: a snow leopard and a lynx spotted in 'Khan-Teniri'
The Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic has published new wildlife photographs taken in the State Natural Park "Khan-Teniri".

Specialists set up equipment for filming in May 2025, and the first results were obtained in December of the same year. The camera captured not only a snow leopard and a lynx but also a pack of wolves, a fox, and mountain goats.

These images play an important role in monitoring populations and protecting the ecosystem.

The State Natural Park "Khan-Teniri" is located in the eastern part of the Issyk-Kul region, between the Kungoy and Teskey Ala-Too ranges, covering areas such as Aydyr-Tor, Sary-Jaz, Enilchek, and Kayindy.

The agency emphasizes that the protection of rare animal species is one of its main tasks. Camera traps are recognized as one of the most effective tools for protecting the country's fauna.
