The Ministry of Transport reported that this decision was made to reduce the load on the road and prevent traffic jams. Asphalt laying work will continue with the onset of spring. On the remaining sections, earthworks are currently being carried out in accordance with winter regulations.
It is important to note that the total length of the Northern Bypass Road of Bishkek is 33.4 km. This year, it is planned to complete the reconstruction of 15 km of this road: 6 km on the Almaty - Bishkek - Tashkent route and 9.1 km on the Bishkek - Naryn - Torugart highway.
