Such real estate practices are often accompanied by aggressive methods and fraud.The draft law is being developed as part of efforts to reduce bureaucracy, with the aim of systematizing real estate activities and organizing the real estate market.
Key points of the initiative include:
- mandatory state registration (certification) of realtors in accordance with established standards;
- introduction of a realtor identification card for citizens to verify the status of intermediaries;
- development of unified standards for real estate services and standard contracts;
- ensuring transparency of information about the status and authority of realtors;
- prohibition of double commissions and restriction of misleading advertising of real estate;
- establishment of liability for illegal real estate activities and non-compliance with requirements.
The authors of the initiative are confident that the adoption of the new law will improve the situation in the real estate market, increase citizens' trust, and create more civilized conditions for honest market participants.
