The Mandatory Health Insurance Fund reported that the initiative to appeal to the EAEU Court regarding access to social security for the families of workers was carried out at the request of the Cabinet of Ministers and submitted through the Judicial Representation Center of the Ministry of Justice.
This information emerged after the meetings of the committees of the Jogorku Kenesh, where Azamat Mukhanov, the head of the FOMS, spoke about measures aimed at protecting the rights of working citizens of Kyrgyzstan and their families in the context of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The Fund noted that Kyrgyzstan is actively fulfilling its obligations within the Union. Families of workers from EAEU countries legally residing in the republic already have access to medical services under mandatory health insurance, according to the State Guarantees Program.
The Kyrgyz side has repeatedly raised the issue of providing similar opportunities for the families of working citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in other Union states. The appeal to the EAEU Court should be viewed as part of the ongoing dialogue among the participants of the integration association.
