
The Asian Futsal Cup 2026 has started in Jakarta. The tournament features 16 teams divided into four groups. Based on the results of the group stage, the two strongest teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals.
The Kyrgyzstan national team, known as "Ak Shumkary," is in Group A, where they will compete against the tournament hosts — the Indonesian team, as well as Iraq and South Korea. The Kyrgyz team will play their first match on January 27 against the Iraqi team.
The groups of the Asian Futsal Cup 2026 are as follows:
Group A: Indonesia, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea
Group B: Thailand, Vietnam, Kuwait, Lebanon
Group C: Japan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Australia
Group D: Iran, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia

All participants received their tickets to the tournament based on the results of the qualifying matches, which took place from September 20 to 24, 2025, in various countries across Asia. The tournament is organized under the aegis of the AFC and will last until February 7.
