As of January 23, the rules for submitting documents in Kyrgyzstan have been simplified
Starting January 23, new simplified procedures for issuing passports for children under 16 have come into effect in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the press service of the state institution "Kyzmat".
Now, registration is no longer required to obtain a passport, which was previously a mandatory condition.
If one of the parents cannot be present during the submission of documents, notarized consent can be obtained through the "Electronic Notary" system.
All powers of attorney issued in Kyrgyzstan are linked to the automated systems of the Public Service Centers (CОN).
Additionally, it is now possible to deregister citizens from their place of residence and temporary stay based on a notarized power of attorney, which previously required a personal visit to the Public Service Center.
Also, for those changing their ID cards, a new reason has been added - change of nationality based on one of the parents.
