A meeting was held at the Ministry of Health with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister
At a recent meeting at the Ministry of Health, Edil Baysalov, who holds the position of Deputy Prime Minister, pointed to management shortcomings as the main reason for the disruptions in the provision of medicines in Kyrgyzstan.
The discussion focused on the current situation in healthcare, the results achieved, and the directions that should be pursued in the coming months.
Baysalov emphasized: "The assessment of our work depends not on reports or plans, but on the feelings of the population. It is important whether there are available medicines, whether doctors are working, and whether medical equipment is functioning. Problems with the supply of medications are a management failure. In 2026, we must closely monitor supplies, especially of vital drugs, and prevent any disruptions."
