Deputy Gulsharkan Kultaev expressed concern about the ease with which young people can obtain loans through apps.
During a plenary session of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Gulsharkan Kultaev raised an important issue regarding the need to tighten control over online loans available to young people.
She noted that modern technologies allow for easy access to loans through mobile applications, and unfortunately, many young people without stable income actively take advantage of this opportunity.
"Many young people take out loans without having a steady income," emphasized Kultaev.
As a measure aimed at protecting this category of citizens, the deputy proposed requiring parental consent for young people under 25 to obtain loans. She also expressed the opinion of introducing a self-ban on loans for this age group, which could only be lifted with parental permission.
According to Kultaev, such measures will help protect young people from unjustified debt burdens and risky financial decisions.
