Meeting participants reminded about the rules that will come into effect on January 1, 2026. According to the new regulations, catering establishments are not allowed to charge separately for services such as serving or plating dishes; all costs must be included in the prices listed on the menu. Thus, the total amount on the bill must match the price in the price list.

Representatives of the antimonopoly service reported that in January, there was a recorded increase in prices in the catering sector, which exceeded 15 percent in some establishments. The market attributed the price increase to rising rental rates, utility payments, fuel prices, food costs, inventory, as well as increases in wages and tax burdens.
As a result of the discussion, entrepreneurs agreed to optimize their pricing policy and implement discounts of 10 percent on orders and takeout. The HoReCa Club Association will prepare analytics for developing further measures to stabilize the situation.
The antimonopoly service reminded of the necessity for strict compliance with legislation and the protection of consumer rights by the establishments.
