Orphans are set to be provided with social housing. Edil Baisalov explained what this means.

At the joint meeting of the parliamentary groups "Ala-Too" and "Eldik" on January 30, Edil Baisalov confirmed that the government plans to implement a social housing program for orphans.

He clarified that this program is different from social mortgages.

“In the case of a social mortgage, the housing becomes private property, whereas in our case, it is about renting. We intend to offer options that do not require an initial payment of 10-30%. Over 20 years, the monthly payments will be approximately 20,000 soms, which is even lower than the market rental price,” explained the deputy head of the cabinet of ministers.
