
The archery championship in Bishkek was officially opened by Kazibek Moldazhiyev, who heads the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan. In his speech, he emphasized that archery is becoming increasingly popular in the country, developing both within the national program and at the Olympic level. This sport not only enhances the skills of young archers but also strengthens the spirit of competition and improves Kyrgyzstan's international image.
Notable figures at the ceremony included Melis Tobokelov, director of the Directorate of Olympic Sports, and Elnura Osmonalieva, president of the Archery Federation, as well as coaches and athletes.
The main goal of the championship is to promote archery and develop both national and Olympic sports. This event is also aimed at attracting youth to a healthy lifestyle, identifying the best archers in the country, and enhancing their professional level.
The competitions are held according to the rules established by the World Archery Federation (WA).
