A press conference was held in Bishkek to discuss the achievements and plans for the development of hockey in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The event gathered key figures: the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, Kazybek Moldazhiyev, the president of the Hockey Federation of Kyrgyzstan, Anvar Omorkanov, the first vice-president of the Federation, Elzar Bolotbekov, as well as representatives of the national U20 youth team, which won gold in the third division of Group B of the World Hockey Championship in Kyrgyzstan.
During the press conference, the main directions for further development of hockey in the country were discussed. Special attention was given to the triumph of the youth team and preparations for the U18 Asian Cup, which will take place on April 27.
Plans for the upcoming participation of the national team in the second division of Group B under the auspices of IIHF in Bulgaria were also presented, as well as the performances of the clubs "Uchur" and "Alga" in the open championship of Uzbekistan.
In conclusion, representatives of the Federation and the State Agency answered journalists' questions and shared plans for the development of hockey infrastructure, interaction with youth, and expanding international cooperation.
