The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has approved a new procedure that regulates the interaction between government bodies and local authorities in the removal of minors from criminal proceedings. This document aims to protect the interests of children and implement the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code.

According to the new resolution, a mechanism for interagency cooperation will be introduced, covering all stages—from incident registration to rehabilitation and the return of the child to a safe environment. Several government structures will be involved in this program, including the ministries of education, health, justice, social protection, and local self-government.

The Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration will be responsible for creating a unified electronic database for reporting, which will allow for effective information exchange between various agencies. Special attention will be paid to compliance with legal norms regarding the protection of personal data.

Funding for all activities will be provided from the already approved budgets of the involved ministries and agencies. The resolution will come into effect in a week.
