Construction Minister Nurdin Oruntaev confirmed that the company "Emakom" is in the process of bankruptcy. He noted that at the moment, the company has no financial resources and has several problematic sites both in Osh and in Bishkek, some of which are completed while others are unfinished.
Oruntaev reported that the Ministry of Construction has been actively working on the issue of commissioning problematic sites since last year. "The president has instructed us to address the unfinished buildings, and decisions will be made soon, which we will communicate," the minister added, specifying that the situation with the specific building in Osh is also under control.
Furthermore, he warned citizens against hasty purchases of housing from lesser-known developers, especially in the early stages of construction. "One should not be swayed by attractive advertising. We see how inflation and rising prices for building materials have led to the bankruptcy of some companies," Oruntaev concluded.
