The beginning of the month of Ramadan is scheduled for February 19
The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (DUMK) has announced that the month of Ramadan will begin on February 19. The corresponding decision was made and announced at the administration.
This decision was the result of the work of the fatwa council of the participating countries of the TMA, which took place in Samarkand (Uzbekistan).
The prayer that traditionally precedes the holy month will be held in all mosques across the country on the evening of February 18.
DUMK strongly urged believers to prepare in advance for the fasting process and to follow the established religious prescriptions.
