The Ministry of Construction tested new equipment for building inspections

Modern devices are designed to detect hidden defects and assess the seismic resistance of structures.

In the Kyrgyz Republic, new engineering equipment has been tested that will allow for a more accurate assessment of the condition of buildings and their resistance to earthquakes. The tests were conducted in collaboration with the Russian company "Tyumengeotechalians" at the State Institute of Seismic Resistant Construction under the Ministry of Construction of the Kyrgyz Republic.

At the event, specialists were introduced to two devices: the "Velosimeter" and the "Seismic Recorder Baikal-7". These devices have already been tested at several construction sites. They can be used to measure the dynamic characteristics of buildings, as well as to identify the level of wear and potential structural deficiencies.

Based on the results of the tests, technical reports will be prepared. If the conclusions are positive, the Ministry of Construction will consider the possibility of further use and, if necessary, procurement of the devices.
