Kamchybek Tashiev, who previously held the position of head of the State Committee for National Security, has returned to Kyrgyzstan. He arrived in Bishkek on the night of February 13, where he was met by several cars resembling official vehicles used during his tenure at the GKNB.

Journalist Nurgazy Anarkulov, who had previously published Tashiev's address, reported on social media that the need for his return is related to the incompleteness of his treatment.

It is noteworthy that on February 10, President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree relieving Tashiev of his duties as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as head of the GKNB.

He was replaced by Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov, who became the acting chairman of the committee.

Additionally, three deputy chairmen of the GKNB were also dismissed.

On February 12, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu resigned, after which Marlen Mamataliev became the new toraga.

Tashiev himself stated that his dismissal came as a surprise, and his trip to Germany was necessitated by the need to undergo examinations after surgery.
