The Central Election Commission and Referendum Commission has once again reviewed the voting results in the multi-mandate constituency No. 13, which were previously annulled. As a result of the meeting, the commission recognized the elections as valid, overturning previous decisions regarding the voting results.

The re-examination of the election results was initiated based on materials provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. During the investigation, violations related to the use of mobile phones at polling stations were identified, which, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, were linked to supporters of candidate Bakyt Sydykov. Criminal cases against other election participants were not initiated.

As a result of the voting by the members of the CEC, nine supported the new resolution, while two voted against. The commission annulled the voting results only for Bakyt Sydykov due to the identified violations.

Following the new vote count, the deputies recognized Aibek Altynbekov, Talant Mamytov, and Aigul Karabekova.

In addition, the previous decision to hold repeat elections in constituency No. 13 has been canceled.

We remind you that the voting results in this constituency were previously annulled due to identified violations, after which repeat elections were scheduled.
