Previously, a video was published on the internet claiming that Saburov provided assistance to the fighters of the "Wagner Legion Istra," which is a criminally punishable act in Kazakhstan.
According to the Finratings portal, activist Marat Turymbetov submitted a request to the General Prosecutor's Office asking to investigate the video in which the comedian is allegedly seen giving equipment to Russian soldiers as a gift.
According to Article 170 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "Mercenarism" is punishable by imprisonment for a term of 7 to 12 years.
It is also worth noting that Nurlan Saburov has been banned from entering Russia for a period of 50 years.
