Comedian Nurlan Saburov made his first statement after being deported from Russia

The comedian expressed gratitude to Russia for its support at the beginning of his career and for the multinational audience.

Nurlan Saburov, a comedian who was expelled from Russia with a 50-year entry ban, commented for the first time on his career in this country after returning to Kazakhstan. In his Instagram, he noted that he is grateful to Russia and recalled the warm attitude of the audience in various regions, as reported by RTVI.

According to him, it was in Russia that he was able to develop his creative abilities and establish himself as an artist, which allowed him to attract a "large multinational audience" both in the country and beyond.

Saburov reminded that his journey as a stand-up comedian began about 15 years ago with a performance in Yekaterinburg, and since then he has given concerts in many Russian cities, sometimes returning to the same places. "I was always met with kindness and warmth," he emphasized.

On February 6, Friday, the comedian returned to Vnukovo from Dubai, where he held a solo concert. However, he was not allowed through border control, remaining in the terminal, from where he was sent on the nearest flight to Almaty. Saburov has family and business left in Russia.

It later became known that the comedian was banned from entering the country for 50 years as part of ensuring national security, compliance with legislation, and protecting traditional spiritual values. A source in law enforcement reported that this decision was made due to his statements regarding the special military operation and violations of migration norms.

According to unconfirmed reports, it was planned that Saburov would be detained and expelled on February 3 in Yekaterinburg; however, his concert in that city did not take place. After the deportation, he reportedly planned performances in other countries, including Thailand, instead of the canceled concerts in Russia.
