The incidence of syphilis, intestinal infections, and influenza has increased in Kyrgyzstan

According to information announced by Deputy Minister of Health and Chief State Sanitary Doctor Ryspek Sydygaliev on "Birinchi Radio," in 2025, Kyrgyzstan faced an increase in the incidence of syphilis, brucellosis, and influenza.

According to the official, by the end of 2025, the country registered 491,516 cases of infectious diseases, which is 36.3% higher than the figures for 2024, when there were 360,536 cases.

In the structure of infectious morbidity, acute viral infections account for 81.9%, including ARVI and influenza.

Sydygaliev also reported a decrease in the incidence of several diseases:


At the same time, an increase in the incidence of acute intestinal infections by 15.2%, brucellosis by 1.3%, as well as ARVI and influenza by 1.5 times was noted.

The number of HIV-infected individuals increased by 8.2%, and cases of syphilis rose by 2.1% compared to the previous year.

Sydygaliev also mentioned that last year, six cases of anthrax, five cases of imported malaria, three cases of hepatitis E, and one case of tetanus were registered.
