Of these, 1,606 students were able to advance to the III (regional/city) stage of the olympiad.
The statistics by regions are as follows:
- Bishkek: 146 out of 2.8 thousand participants;
- Osh: 34 out of 148;
- Issyk-Kul region: 189 out of 2.5 thousand;
- Osh region: 230 out of 2.4 thousand;
- Naryn region: 115 out of 2 thousand;
- Talas region: 124 out of 1.2 thousand;
- Batken region: 181 out of 1.5 thousand;
- Chuy region: 272 out of 3.7 thousand;
- Jalal-Abad region: 315 out of 5.4 thousand.
The olympic competitions were held in the following subjects:
- mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, history, computer science, and English;
- for schools with instruction in Kyrgyz: Kyrgyz language and literature, Russian language and literature;
- for schools with instruction in Russian: Kyrgyz language and literature, Russian language and literature.
