
Financial support is aimed at improving the environmental situation in the country
Kyrgyzstan will receive 60 million dollars from donors to improve air quality. This was reported by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision.
According to the agency, as part of the implementation of the government’s directive and international partnership, a project titled "Improving Air Quality in the Kyrgyz Republic" has been launched, costing 10 million dollars, which will be carried out until 2028 with the support of KOICA.
In addition, with the assistance of the World Bank, a project with a similar name is also being implemented, allocating 50 million dollars for these purposes.
Recently, the composition of the interagency commission was updated, 10 meetings were held, and field meetings were organized in Osh and Manas to discuss local environmental issues.
