In his address, Satyiev emphasized that the quality of justice is inextricably linked to the professionalism of judges, the uniformity of judicial practice, adherence to discipline, and a high level of ethical standards.
The head of the Supreme Court noted that the meeting is not formal in nature: it is an opportunity to summarize the work, identify shortcomings, and determine further directions for development. Satyiev stressed that the main goal of the meeting is not criticism, but a desire for improvement.
The Chairman of the Issyk-Kul Regional Court, Nurkalyy Asanbaev, presented information on the quality of justice. According to his data, in 2025, 870 cases were reviewed in appellate proceedings, of which 413 cases were appealed in cassation, and 312 cases, which constitutes 75.54%, were left unchanged.
Mederbek Satyiev noted that public trust in the judicial system directly depends on the quality of judges' work. He instructed to strengthen the work on summarizing judicial practice, regularly analyzing it, and developing specific measures to address identified shortcomings.
The Chairman of the Supreme Court also highlighted judges who demonstrate high results, while simultaneously emphasizing the need for special attention to judges with low performance indicators.
“If work is perceived formally, without deep analysis and attention to detail, how can citizens trust our courts?” Satyiev asked, stressing that every careless or superficial decision undermines the authority of the entire judicial system.
During the meeting, other important issues were discussed, including the functioning of automated information systems, problems related to land plots, repairs and construction, logistical support for local courts, as well as personnel issues and the activities of judicial officers.
