Eliana-Maryam Satarova, the head of the "Al-Umma" fund, noted that the main idea of the project is to create a festive atmosphere for those who do not have the opportunity to participate in such events throughout the year.
Satarova added: "In 2016, we began to set up large tents in the holy month, inviting people in difficult situations — single mothers, orphaned children, people with disabilities, and anyone in need of support. Our goal is to show mercy and care, which is an important part of the meaning of Ramadan."
We aimed to set an example for society in showing mercy and care for others, as well as in nurturing the younger generation. Over these ten years, the project has become a people's initiative.
