According to the information provided, the Chui Regional Court reviewed 2,150 cases last year, of which 848 court decisions were appealed. Of these, 73.82% were upheld.
Mederbek Satiev pointed out that in total, more than 42,000 cases were reviewed by the courts of the Chui region over the past year, with an average stability rate of court decisions ranging from 60-70%. The highest percentage of decisions upheld was recorded in the Chui Regional Court, as well as in the courts of Tokmok and Jaiyl. The lowest figures were observed in the Sokuluk and Panfilov districts. Some judges achieved decision stability rates of 90-100%, while the minimum rate was 25%, indicating quality issues in judicial acts in several instances.

“Recent events in the Administrative Court of the Osh region should serve as an important lesson for all of us. Payments of salaries to non-existent individuals represent a serious violation that threatens the state budget and carries criminal liability. Also, on February 14, the senior secretary of the civil cases panel of the Chui Regional Court, A.Zh., was detained in one of the shopping centers in Bishkek on suspicion of fraud,” noted Mederbek Satiev, emphasizing the need to cleanse the judicial system of corrupt elements. “Such facts should have no place,” he added.
In conclusion of the meeting, the chairman highlighted that only professionals who are sincerely devoted to their work and the state should operate within the judicial system. Despite staffing challenges, the courts must retain true patriots for whom serving the law is a conscious choice.
