The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has established new rules for land use within a radius of 500 meters around the under-construction football stadium in the Lenin district, previously known as Orok. This decision was made to ensure the safety of this strategically important facility.
Within the specified radius, it is prohibited to design, construct, or reconstruct any buildings taller than 20 meters, which is approximately three stories.
This ban applies to all facilities, except for those listed in the annex to the resolution.
The government noted that this measure is aimed at creating a safe zone around the stadium and preventing violations in the operation of this important sports facility.
Control over the implementation of this decision has been entrusted to the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Communal Services, as well as the Bishkek City Hall, which are tasked with taking all necessary actions within their authority.
The resolution will come into effect seven days after its adoption.
