The park administration explained the reasons for the malfunction of the new lift.
In the Ala-Archa State Natural Park, the new cable car was stopped for half an hour on the second day of its operation, which understandably caused confusion among visitors.
According to the administration, the reason for the stoppage was strong winds and a large number of people wanting to use the lift. As a result, the automatic safety system was triggered, which halted the operation of the cable car.
The park clarified that "no technical malfunctions or problems with the equipment were recorded."
The cost of riding the cable car is 600 soms per person. The line, which is 1 kilometer long, is located near Bishkek, and there are plans for its expansion in the future.
